92609-89-7 Usage
Uses
Different sources of media describe the Uses of 92609-89-7 differently. You can refer to the following data:
1. 16:0 Phosphatidylmethanol (1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphomethanol (sodium salt)) may be used as a standard in ultra-high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS) analysis for the quantification of phosphatidylethanols (PEths) in whole blood, venous/capillary-dried blood spots (V-DBS and?C-DBS).
2. 16:0 Phosphatidylmethanol has been used as an internal standard for the quantification of three phosphatidylethanols.
General Description
Phosphatidylmethanol is a non-enzymatically derived minor lipid present in the lipid extracts of Escherichia coli.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Phosphatidylmethanol is an anionic lipid which binds to the Phospholipase D. It is categorized as an alkyl phosphate lipid under headgroup modified lipids.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 92609-89-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,2,6,0 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 92609-89:
(7*9)+(6*2)+(5*6)+(4*0)+(3*9)+(2*8)+(1*9)=157
157 % 10 = 7
So 92609-89-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and Characterization of Some Acid Phospholipids with Alkyl Head Groups
Kertscher, H.-P.,Gawrisch, K.,Brezesinski, G.
, p. 150 - 153 (2007/10/02)
The acid phospholipids with different long alkyl head groups were prepared total synthetically by direct phosphorylation with phosphorus oxychloride as well as partial synthetically by transphosphorylation with phospholipase D.The characterization was provided by 13C-NMR-spectroscopy, elementary analytically as well as by the phase behaviour, that was determined optically and calorimetrically. The conversion temperatures decrease with increasing number of methylene groups with alkyl head groups systematically, but the conversion enthalpies increases with growing head group length. The conversion temperatures of the phospholipids with perdeuterium head groups don't correspond with their labelled analogues.
