ABSPALTUNG DES CARBEN-LIGANDEN VON (CO)5CrC(OEt)SiPh3. ABHAENGIGKEIT DER PRODUKTVERTEILUNG VON DEN REAKTIONSBEDINGUNGEN
Schubert, Ulrich,Hoernig, Hannelore
, p. C11 - C16 (1984)
When solid (CO)5CrC(OEt)SiPh3 is thermolysed, two different reaction pathways are observed: (i) fragmentation to give Cr(CO)6, triphenylsilane and ethylene; and (ii) cleavage of the bond between the chromium atom and the carbene carbon to yield both ethyl(triphenylsilyl)ketone (3) and a metal complex, in which one of the phenyl groups of 3 is ?-bonded to a Cr(CO)3 moiety. If thermolysis is carried out in dioxane solution, the ketone portion increases considerably. However, in pyridine solution ethoxytriphenylsilane and hexaphenyldisiloxane are formed.
Siliciumhaltige Carben-Komplexe IX. Thermische Fragmentierung von Alkoxy(triphenylsilyl)carben-Komplexen, (CO)5MC(OR)SiPh3 (M=Cr, Mo, W)

, p. 307 - 316 (2007/10/02)
On thermolysis of (CO)3M=C(OEt)SiPh3 (M=W, Mo, Cr) in the solid state or in solution three different decomposition pathways are observed, which are unusual for Fischer-type carbene complexes; fragmentation of the complex to give triphenylsilane, ethylene
