Rodríguez-Fernández, Mamen,Yan, Xingchen,Collados, Juan F.,White, Paul B.,Harutyunyan, Syuzanna R.
, p. 14224 - 14231 (2017)
Here we report that readily available silyl- and boron-based Lewis acids in combination with chiral copper catalysts are able to overcome the reactivity issues of unactivated enamides, known as the least reactive carboxylic acid derivatives, toward alkyla
Cu(I)-NHC catalyzed Asymmetric Silyl transfer to unsaturated Lactams and Amides
Pace, Vittorio,Rae, James P.,Procter, David J.
supporting information, p. 476 - 479 (2014/04/03)
The first asymmetric silylation of unsaturated lactams and amides using Cu(I)-NHC catalysts and PhMe2SiBpin has been accomplished. The method has been exploited in an expedient asymmetric synthesis of the (R)-enantiomer of the nootropic drug oxiracetam.
