The syntheses of the new TTF derivatives 1a-g (table 2) and of the thiones 2a-k (table 1) are described.Influences of the substituents R on the dimerization of the thiones 2 and on the charge transfer interactions are noted.The conductivity of electric currency of some of the isolated charge transfer complexes containing TCNQ, TCNE and bromine is described.
