Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 97206-75-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,7,2,0 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 97206-75:
(7*9)+(6*7)+(5*2)+(4*0)+(3*6)+(2*7)+(1*5)=152
152 % 10 = 2
So 97206-75-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis of Pyrazines and Quinoxalines via Acceptorless Dehydrogenative Coupling Routes Catalyzed by Manganese Pincer Complexes

Daw, Prosenjit,Kumar, Amit,Espinosa-Jalapa, Noel Angel,Diskin-Posner, Yael,Ben-David, Yehoshoa,Milstein, David

, p. 7734 - 7741 (2018/08/03)

Base-metal catalyzed dehydrogenative self-coupling of 2-amino alcohols to selectively form functionalized 2,5-substituted pyrazine derivatives is presented. Also, 2-substituted quinoxaline derivatives are synthesized by dehydrogenative coupling of 1,2-diaminobenzene and 1,2-diols. In both cases, water and hydrogen gas are formed as the sole byproducts. The reactions are catalyzed by acridine-based pincer complexes of earth-abundant manganese.

Conversion of Carbon Dioxide into Oxazolidinones Mediated by Quaternary Ammonium Salts and DBU

Lv, Min,Wang, Peng,Yuan, Dan,Yao, Yingming

, p. 4451 - 4455 (2017/12/26)

A straightforward method to construct oxazolidinones through a three-component reaction involving CO2, epoxides, and amines promoted by a combination of Bu4NI and 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene was developed. A wide range of aromatic and aliphatic amines and monosubstituted epoxides were converted into 3,5-disubstituted-2-oxazolidines in up to 95 % yield. This metal-free and easily available catalytic system was applicable to a broad range of substrates, including conventionally challenging ones such as aliphatic epoxides, at atmospheric pressure. Preliminary mechanistic studies suggested a reaction pathway involving β-amino alcohols.

Synthesis of meta-Functionalized Pyridines by Selective Dehydrogenative Heterocondensation of β- and γ-Amino Alcohols

Hille, Toni,Irrgang, Torsten,Kempe, Rhett

supporting information, p. 371 - 374 (2016/12/30)

New reactions that convert alcohols into important classes of compounds are becoming increasingly important as their development contributes to the conservation of our fossil carbon feedstock and the reduction of CO2emissions. Two key catalytic alcohol conversion concepts are borrowing hydrogen or hydrogen autotransfer and acceptorless dehydrogenative condensation. Herein, we combined both concepts to synthesize meta-functionalized pyridines. First, diols and amines were linked to β-amino alcohols, which can then undergo a selective dehydrogenative heterocondensation with γ-amino alcohols. Iridium catalysts stabilized by PN5P pincer ligands that were developed in our laboratory mediate the reactions most efficiently. All of the 3-aminopyridines that we describe in this paper have been synthesized for the first time, emphasizing the degree of innovation of this method and the problems associated with the synthesis of such meta-functionalized pyridines.

Calcium trifluoroacetate as an efficient catalyst for ring-opening of epoxides by amines under solvent-free conditions

Outouch, Rachid,Rauchdi, Mariem,Boualy, Brahim,El Firdoussi, Larbi,Roucoux, Alain,Ali, Mustapha Ait

, p. 67 - 72 (2014/04/17)

Ca(CF3CO2)2 efficiently catalyzed the selective ring-opening of epoxides by amines leading to the synthesis of β-aminoalcohols. The reaction works well with various aromatic and aliphatic amines under solvent-free conditions. Corresponding β-aminoalcohols were obtained in excellent yields with high regioselectivity. The catalyst was easily prepared by reaction of CaH 2 in trifluoroacetic acid.

N-Fluorobenzenaminium tetrafluoroborate generated in situ by aniline and Selectfluor as a reusable catalyst for the ring opening of epoxides with amines under microwave irradiation

Chauhan, Manmohan Singh,Yadav, Geeta Devi,Hussain, Firasat,Singh, Surendra

The ring opening of epoxides with aromatic and aliphatic amines was carried out under solvent free conditions using N-fluorobenzenaminium tetrafluoroborate (2 mol%) generated in situ by the reaction of aniline and Selectfluor as a catalyst with microwave irradiation. Excellent yields of β-amino alcohols were obtained. The catalyst also results in the retention of the stereochemistry for the ring opening of enantiopure epoxide with amine. The catalyst was recovered and reused up to 4 cycles for the ring opening of cyclohexene oxide with aniline. This journal is

, p. 105 - 114 (2015/09/28)

Single-step and two-steps synthetic procedure for the synthesis of sulfated zirconia (SZ) was developed, which were calcined at 500, 600 and 700 °C and characterized by various physico-chemical methods such as PXRD, FTIR, surface area, microanalysis, NH3-TPD and DRIFT analysis. These SZ materials were then employed as solid acid catalysts for the aminolysis of different aliphatic/aromatic terminal, aryloxy and meso epoxides with aromatic and aliphatic amines under ambient conditions. Amongst the catalyst prepared, SZ-2-600 prepared in two-steps and 600 ° C calcined was found to be the most efficient catalyst to give p-amino alcohols in up to 98% yield and 7gt;99% regioselectivity. The SZ catalyst was successfully recycled and reused up to six catalytic runs with intact efficiency.
