A general procedure for synthesis of 5-chloro-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxaldehydes 4 and the rearrangement reaction of 4-(N-substituted)iminomethylene-1H-1,2,3-triazol-5-ols 6 into N-substituted-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxamides 7 are described.
