Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 97618-62-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,7,6,1 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 97618-62:
(7*9)+(6*7)+(5*6)+(4*1)+(3*8)+(2*6)+(1*2)=177
177 % 10 = 7
So 97618-62-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Iron-catalyzed chemoselective hydride transfer reactions

Coufourier, Sébastien,Ndiaye, Daouda,Gaillard, Quentin Gaignard,Bettoni, Léo,Joly, Nicolas,Mbaye, Mbaye Diagne,Poater, Albert,Gaillard, Sylvain,Renaud, Jean-Luc

supporting information, (2021/06/07)

A Diaminocyclopentadienone iron tricarbonyl complex has been applied in chemoselective hydrogen transfer reductions. This bifunctional iron complex demonstrated a broad applicability in mild conditions in various reactions, such as reduction of aldehydes over ketones, reductive alkylation of various functionalized amines with functionalized aldehydes and reduction of α,β-unsaturated ketones into the corresponding saturated ketones. A broad range of functionalized substrates has been isolated in excellent yields with this practical procedure.

Nickel(II)-NΛNΛO Pincer Type Complex-Catalyzed N-alkylation of Amines with Alcohols via the Hydrogen Autotransfer Reaction

Balamurugan, Gunasekaran,Ramesh, Rengan,Malecki, Jan Grzegorz

, p. 7125 - 7135 (2020/06/08)

A highly sustainable catalytic protocol for the coupling of alcohols and amines for selective monoalkylated amines using Ni(II)-NΛNΛO pincer type complexes through the borrowing hydrogen methodology is described. An array of Ni(II) catalysts (1-3) was synthesized and characterized by various spectral and analytical methods. Furthermore, the distorted square planar geometry of the complexes (1 and 2) was substantiated with single crystal X-ray diffraction study. The inexpensive nickel-based catalytic methodology displays a broad substrate scope for the N-alkylation of aromatic and heteroaromatic amines using a diverse range of primary alcohols with excellent yields up to 97%. The present approach is environmentally benign, which liberates water as the sole byproduct. A short synthesis of drug intermediates such as mepyramine and chloropyramine illustrates the utility of the present protocol.

Iron-Catalyzed Nitrene Transfer Reaction of 4-Hydroxystilbenes with Aryl Azides: Synthesis of Imines via C=C Bond Cleavage

Peng, Yi,Fan, Yan-Hui,Li, Si-Yuan,Li, Bin,Xue, Jing,Deng, Qing-Hai

, p. 8389 - 8394 (2019/10/16)

C=C bond breaking to access the C=N bond remains an underdeveloped area. A new protocol for C=C bond cleavage of alkenes under nonoxidative conditions to produce imines via an iron-catalyzed nitrene transfer reaction of 4-hydroxystilbenes with aryl azides is reported. The success of various sequential one-pot reactions reveals that the good compatibility of this method makes it very attractive for synthetic applications. On the basis of experimental observations, a plausible reaction mechanism is also proposed.

Application of a catalyst-free Domino Mannich/Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction for the synthesis of novel tetrahydroquinolines of potential antitumor activity

Castillo, Juan-Carlos,Jiménez, Elizabeth,Portilla, Jaime,Insuasty, Braulio,Quiroga, Jairo,Moreno-Fuquen, Rodolfo,Kennedy, Alan R.,Abonia, Rodrigo

, p. 932 - 947 (2018/02/09)

A useful and efficient method to construct diversely substituted 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolines in good to excellent yields has been developed through a catalyst-free Domino Mannich and intramolecular Friedel-Crafts alkylation reactions of N-arylamines with
