Configuration of bis-DA adduct (2) of ethyl isodehydracetate and maleic anhydride has been demonstrated through PMR spectral data of its various hydrazides.Non-planarity and restricted rotation about the N-N bond provide evidence for the endo-orientation of both the anhydride rings to the olefinic bond of the cage-moiety.
