Isobornyl acetate is colorless liquid with an odor of pine needles and a boiling point of 220-224°C; It is soluble in fixed oils and mineral oil; used in toiletries and soaps and antiseptics, and as a flavoring agent. The IUPAC name of isobornyl acetate is [(1S,4R,6S)-1,7,7-trimethyl-6-bicyclo[2.2.1]heptanyl] acetate.
