Uses of Silane,dichloro(2-chloroethyl)methyl-: It can react with 2-bromo-thiophene to produce (2-chloro-ethyl)-methyl-di-thiophen-2-yl-silane. This reaction will need reagent .02 M Bu4NBr, and the menstruum tetrahydrofuran and hexamethylphosphoric acid triamide. And the yield is about 42%.
