The soln. is acidified (to Congo red) with dil. (1:3) HNO3, treated with 1 g Ba(NO3)2, and titrated with 0.1N AgNO3. To allow for inorg. Cl-, the latter is titrated sep. under similar conditions in aq. DMF without preliminary solvolysis.Except for chemicals metioned above, 140-49-8 and 24304-86-7 are also used. .
