A polymer [94290-94-5] for soft contact lenses was prepd. from the silane 50, Bu methacrylate (hydrophobic monomer) 20, N-vinylpyrrolidone 5 and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (hydrophilic monomers) 25, and allyl methacrylate 0.5 parts with 2,2'-azobis(2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile) catalyst.
