(Kiev), 17, 52-5 (Russian) 1982. CODEN: FATOBP. ISSN: 0430-0939. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacology) In rats with cotton-ball implants, the formation of granulation-fibrous tissue was decreased by daily injections of mephenamin [341-69-5] and chingamin [50-63-5] and, in lesser degree, by butadione [50-33-9] and indomethacin [53-86-1]. None of these drugs affected the maturation of collagen, although chingamin and salicylate [69-72-7] accelerate collagen catabolism, and mephenamin and chingamin depress synthesis.
