Pancreatic wet wt., pathol. alteration of pancrease and serum amylase activity (SAA) was examd. and, for preventive study, the plasma secretin (PS) concn. was measured. In a 2nd expt., the effects of I on the survival rate of necrotizing hemorrhagic pancreatitis induced by retrograde injection of a mixed soln. of taurocholate Na and trypsin into the bile-pancreatic duct were estd.There are some commonly used reagents with their cas registry numbers 6809-52-5 and 1393-25-5 in this article. PS levels were elevated by I. Prevention of the development of EPT was detd. from pancreatic wet wt. and edema, but no therapeutic effect was obsd. SAA was increased by I. These results suggest that oral administration of I releases endogenous secretin and may be useful for the prevention of acute EPT. .

One week oral administration of teprenone [6809-52-5] did not alter the gastric acid and pepsin secretion. The phospholipid content was increased by teprenone.In this experiment, several chemicals are used like 6809-52-5 Changes in subclasses of phospholipids in gastric mucus by teprenone treatment, namely, increased phosphatidylcholine and decreased lysophosphatidylcholine, were obsd. Thus the antiulcer effect of teprenone may be due to enhancement of gastric mucosal integrity. .
