(Ljubljana), 34(3), 151-7 (Slovenian) 1983.Several reagents with their cas registry numbers 1341-79-3 and 8001-78-3 are used here. CODEN: FMVTAV. ISSN: 0014-8229. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 63 (Pharmaceuticals) Detn. of contact angles (q) of H2O on white petroleum jelly, contg. different concns. (1-30 g/100 g) of Protegin [1341-79-3] and Protegin W [81544-51-6] emulsifiers, showed that Protegin decreased the contact angle only up to a certain concn. (about 15-20 g/100 g) and Protegin W in the entire examd. interval (up to 30 g/100 g). In spite of the same hydrophile-lipophile balance value, at the same concn. of the both emulsifiers, different contact angles were found. Optimum concns. were 15-20 g/100 g Protegin and about 30 g/100 g concn. of Protegin W emulsifier. .

APPLICATION: BR 86-159 16 Jan 1986. PRIORITY: CH 85-226 18 Jan 1985. DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 58 (Cement, Concrete, and Related Building Materials) A traffic-resistant pavement is prepd. from a compn. consisting of stone aggregate powd. classified to >1 mm diam. and >1 wt.% resin binder; after setting, the pavement is permeable to water and water vapor and the bonded stone can absorb water collected on the surface. A coating contg. a thixotropic agent can be applied. River sand 50 kg with size 3-8 mm was mixed with colorless epoxy resin 2 kg which comprised 71.43% Epikote 828 and 28.57% Epikure and the mixt. was applied at a thickness of 10 cm to give a pavement with compressive strength 8176N. .
