Preparation of 2-Bromo-3-nitropyridine: this chemical can be prepared by Trifluoromethanesulfonic acid 3-nitropyridin-2-yl ester.

Uses of 2-Bromo-3-nitropyridine: it can be used to produce 2-Bromo-pyridin-3-ylamine.
