Uses of 2-Bromopyrimidine: It can react with 2-benzyl-octahydro-pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole to produce 2-benzyl-5-pyrimidin-2-yl-octahydro-pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole. This reaction will need reagent K2CO3, and the solvent toluene. And the yield is about 80%.
