2-Butylfuran Specification

The 2-Butylfuran, its cas register number is 4466-24-4. It also can be called as Furan, 2-butyl- and the IUPAC name about this chemical is 2-Butylfuran. It is flammable. 1-bromo-butane react with furan can get this chemical. Ans this chemical can react with tetrachloromethane to get tetra(5-n-butyl-2-furyl)methane. Also it can react with diphenylmethanol to get (5-butyl-2-furyl)diphenylmethane.
