3-HEXANONE Uses

3-Hexanone (CAS NO.589-38-8) is a food with spice.and mainly used for the preparation of wine and other fruit flavor and the meat flavor.

3-HEXANONE Production

Methods of production: 3-Hexanone (CAS NO.589-38-8) is from the 3 - hexanol in the oxidative phosphorylation of the presence of Ni-Zn catalyst for dehydrogenation derived. May also be 2 - ethyl-furan hydrogenation derived. Or by β-furan-propionic acid in the 250-300 ℃ through 5% Pt-C catalyst derived benefits.
