The invention discloses a method for synthesizing 1,3-diiminoisoindoline by using a mixed solvent. By using a solvent method in a synthesis method of phthalic anhydride to synthesize the 1,3-diiminoisoindoline, the disadvantage of raw material shortage of a phthalonitrile method and defect of unstable reaction in a solid-phase melting method are overcome. The method has the advantages of simple and easily-controlled process and safe operation; in addition, the yield of the 1,3-diiminoisoindoline reaches 90 percent or above.
