Simple and Practical Real-Time Analysis of Solid-Phase Reactions by Thin-Layer Chromatography
Wu, Chia-Hui,Chen, Chun C.,Lin, Su-Ching,Wang, Cheng-Chung
supporting information, p. 1430 - 1436 (2018/05/15)
Solid-phase synthesis is a practical approach for simplifying the time-consuming and routine purification steps in the preparation of numerous naturally occurring molecules; however, studying such reactions is difficult due to the lack of a convenient monitoring method. By using thin-layer chromatography in conjunction with a photolabile linker on a resin, we developed a convenient and simple method for monitoring solid-phase reactions in real time by thin-layer chromatography. This method provides a user-friendly protocol for examining reaction conditions for solid-state syntheses.
Automated Glycan Assembly of Oligosaccharides Related to Arabinogalactan Proteins
Bartetzko, Max P.,Schuhmacher, Frank,Hahm, Heung Sik,Seeberger, Peter H.,Pfrengle, Fabian
supporting information, p. 4344 - 4347 (2015/09/15)
Arabinogalactan proteins are heavily glycosylated proteoglycans in plants. Their glycan portion consists of type-II arabinogalactan polysaccharides whose heterogeneity hampers the assignment of the arabinogalactan protein function. Synthetic chemistry is
Synthesis of 60-acylamido-60-deoxy-a-D-galactoglycerolipids
Li, Chunxia,Sun, Yihua,Zhang, Jun,Zhao, Zhimin,Yu, Guangli,Guan, Huashi
, p. 15 - 23 (2013/10/21)
Aminoglycoglycerolipid 1a isolated from an algal extract showed activity against the enzyme Myt1 kinase with an IC50 value of 0.12 lg/mL. Its analogues, 60-acylamido-60-deoxy-a-D-galactoglycerolipids (2a-g) were synthesized in an efficient way with high s
Synthesis of an anthrose derivative and production of polyclonal antibodies for the detection of anthrax spores
Dhenin, Sandrine G.Y.,Moreau, Vincent,Morel, Nathalie,Nevers, Marie-Claire,Volland, Herve,Creminon, Christophe,Djedaini-Pilard, Florence
, p. 2101 - 2110 (2008/12/21)
A straightforward synthesis of a derivative of anthrose, the non-reducing terminal fragment of the antigenic tetrasaccharide from Bacillus anthracis, was achieved starting from d-galactose. This hapten is able to induce a highly specific and sensitive immune response in rabbit when attached to a carrier protein.
A new one-pot synthesis of Gb3 and isoGb3 trisaccharide analogues
Wang, Changning,Li, Qin,Wang, Haisheng,Zhang, Li-He,Ye, Xin-Shan
, p. 11657 - 11662 (2007/10/03)
Gb3 and isoGb3 are both biologically important oligosaccharides. A new efficient synthesis of Gb3 and isoGb3 trisaccharide analogues has been achieved by one-pot sequential glycosylation strategy starting from s
