β-Boc-protected aryl and alkyl hydrazines, useful intermediates for azapeptides and N-substituted pyrazoles, were synthesized by electrophylic amination methodology, using less energetic N-Boc-O-tosyl hydroxylamine as an efficient nitrogen source.
