Benzylic C-H arylation of azaarylmethanes with aryl sulfides has been developed by using a Pd-NHC catalyst and an amide base. Various azaarylmethanes and aryl sulfides were involved in the reaction to afford the corresponding diarylmethanes in good to excellent yields.
