The systematic name of this chemical is Carboxypeptidase A. With the CAS registry number 11075-17-5 and EINECS 234-297-5, it is also named as Peptidyl-L-amino-acid hydrolase. It is white suspension which should be stored at the temperature of 2-8°C. Carboxypeptidase A usually refers to the pancreatic exopeptidase which hydrolyzes peptide bonds of C-terminal residues with aromatic or aliphatic side chains.
