APG type

Alkyl polyglucosides (APGs) are a type of nonionic surfactant derived from natural raw materials, primarily glucose from corn starch and fatty alcohols from coconut or palm kernel oil. APGs are biodegradable and environmentally friendly, making them popular in various industries, including personal care, household cleaning, and agriculture. These surfactants are known for their mildness on skin and surfaces, low toxicity, and good compatibility with other ingredients. APGs exhibit excellent foaming and cleaning properties, making them suitable for use in shampoos, body washes, and liquid soaps, where they enhance foam stability and provide gentle cleansing without stripping natural oils. In household cleaning products, APGs act as effective surfactants that help remove dirt, grease, and stains from surfaces while being safe for use in septic systems.
