Costus oil Specification
The Costus oil with CAS registry number of 8023-88-9 is also known as Costus root oil. The systematic name is Oils, costus. Preparation of Costus oil: it is extracted from dry root of coriandrum sativum. After crushed, the dry root is steam distilled or solvent extracted, then the resinous extract is vacuum distilled to obtain product. The yield is about 1-2.8 %.
