Uses of Cyclohexyl chloroformate: (1) it is used as pesticide intermediates; (2) it is used to produce other chemicals. For example, it can react with glycine to get N-cyclohexyloxycarbonyl-glycine. The reaction occurs with reagent NaOH at ambient temperature for 3 hours. The yield is 83 %.
