A tin bronze that has been deoxidized by the addition of up to 0.5% phosphorus. Relatively hard, strong, and corrosion resistant. Has good cold-work properties and high strength.

Grade:

Grade A (5% tin), grade C (8% tin), grade D (10% tin), grade E (1.25% tin).

Use:

Springs, electrical switches, contact fingers, chains, fourdrinier wire.
