It also can be called Alluminio diisobutil-monocloruro ; Aluminum, chlorobis(2-methylpropyl)- ; Aluminum, chlorodiisobutyl- ; Bis(isobutyl)aluminum chloride ; Chlorobis(2-methylpropyl)aluminum ; Dibac ; Diisobutylaluminum chloride ; Diisobutylaluminum monochloride ; and Diisobutylchloroaluminum . 
 Diisobutylaluminum chloride (CAS NO.1779-25-5) is air sensitive, moisture sensitive. It will react violently with water. While, it should avoid the condition like incompatible materials, ignition sources, temperatures above 150 °C, exposure to moist air or water. It is also incompatibilities with other materials, oxidizing materials, water, acids, alcohols, oxygen, organic halides, moisture. And its hazardous decomposition products are hydrogen chloride, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, aluminum oxide. However, its hazardous polymerization will not occur.
