Dimethicone Specification
The Dimethicone with CAS registry number of 9006-65-9 is also known as Polydimethylsiloxane. The systematic name is Dimethylpolysiloxane. Uses of Dimethicone. This chemical is commonly used as a stamp resin in the procedure of soft lithography. It is used variously in the cosmetic and consumer product industry as well. Dimethicone is also used in analytical chemistry as a component of some types of SPME fibers. What's more, it has been used in the aerospace industry as a heat tile on reentry vehicles.
