 GB 2760-96 allows the use of edible spices. Mainly for the preparation of herbs, berries and mixed spices and other flavor, can replace or complement the use of eugenol for the perfumer.

Natural products containing in clove bud oil. Eugenol acetate (CAS NO.93-28-7) can directly obtained by acetylation of Acetic anhydride.
