W(Ph<*>CPh)3(NCCH3) has been synthesized by treating W(PhC<*>CPh)3(CO) with Me3NO in acetonitrile solution.Reactions of W(PhC<*>CPh)3(NCCH3) with (PPh2)2CH2 and PPh3 afford W(PhC<*>CPh)3(η¹-PPh2CH2PPh2) and W(PhC<*>CPh)3(PPh3), respectively.
