The reaction of 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane with (η⁴-diene)- and (η⁴-heterodiene)-Fe(CO)2L complexes gives the complex .A mechanism for the formation of this complex is proposed on the basis of the reaction products and the kinetic results.
