Organometallics
Article
The asymmetric unit in 5b comprised one molecule of benzene, in
addition to one molecule of the rhodium complex. The solvent and the
carbene backbone atoms C(2), C(3), and C(4) exhibited 75:25
disorder. ADP restraints were applied to the 25% fractional occupancy
carbons in the final least-squares cycles. Distance restraints were also
included in the minor disordered solvent component to assist
convergence.
Crystallographic data for compounds 1b, 2a, 3a, and 5b have been
deposited with the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre as
supplementary publications CCDC 901475−901478. Copies of the
data can be obtained free of charge on application to CCDC, 12 Union
