The syntheses of metal complexes of the optically active diolefins nopadiene, acetylnopadiene, nopadiene acid and nopadiene aldehyde are described.All the ligands were coordinated to the Fe(CO)3 group and some also to CpRh, CpCo, Cp^*Rh and Cp
