Preparation of Polyisobutylene: 
It is prepared by polymerization of liquid ethylene with methyl chloride or hexane at low temperature. The reaction occurs with catalyst aluminum chloride. After the polymerization, increasing the temperature of the reaction mixture to remove volatile components.
