Uses
Intermediate for dyes, pharmaceuticals; agricultural chemicals. N-Ethylcarbazole is used as an additive/modifier in a photorefractive composite containing dimethylnitrophenylazoanisole, photoconductor poly(n-vinylcarbazole)(25067-59-8), ethylcarbazole, and trinitrofluorenone with high optical gain and diffraction efficiency near 100%.
