Description 17b-Hydroxy-2a-methyl-5a-androstan-3-one propionate, also known as drostanolone propionate, is a synthetic anabolic-androgenic steroid. It has similar properties to dihydrotestosterone. It had been used for the treatment of breast cancer in the past. However, it is now mainly used by athletes and bodybuilder as an anabolic steroid. It has two major effects including enhancing the physical/athletic performance (such as endurance and strength) and enhancing physical health (muscle buildup and fat loss). It should be administrated via intramuscular injection instead of oral taking.
Uses Drostanolone propionate is the propionate salt form of dromostanolone, a synthetic anabolic steroid related to dihydrotestosterone that has antiestrogenic effects. It is used as an antineoplastic for use in females, for palliation of androgenresponsive recurrent mammary cancer in women who are more than one year but less than five years postmenopausal. Now it is used to help improve athletic performance and muscle gain.
