Uses
Tropine is an oxidative product of Tropane, used to synthesize alkaloid derivatives. Tropine as an oxidative product of Tropane, used to synthesize alkaloid derivatives. Benzatropine and etybenzatropine are derivatives of tropine. It is also a building block of atropine, an anticholinergic drug prototypical of the muscarinic antagonist class.
