C.I. Reactive Black 8 (CAS NO.12225-26-2) is a black powder. Solubility in water (50 °C ) for the 10g / L. Aqueous solution was Qingguang black, plus 1mol / L sodium hydroxide the color change, following the plus insurance, and hot pink, pale yellow solution, coupled with sodium perborate colors remain the same. Was purple in concentrated sulfuric acid, diluted with water, the color change; in concentrated nitric acid was purplish black, navy blue diluted with water to transmit.
Uses
C.I. Reactive Black 8 can be used for cotton, viscose fiber dyeing and fastness are all good, usually only used for dyeing gray or color light. It can also be with the reactive brilliant orange KG, Reactive Brilliant Blue to fight brown, and gray fight KR reactive brilliant orange. It is also used silk and cotton blended fabrics-dimensional direct printing, polyester-cotton blended fabric 2 bath dyeing.
Production
C.I. Reactive Black 8 is based on 2 - hydroxy -5 - nitroaniline, H acid, cyanuric chloride and sulfuric acid chromium, cobalt sulfate as raw materials, first 2 - hydroxy -5 - nitroaniline diazotization, coupling with H acid, and then the coupling products in the presence of sodium acetate and sulfuric acid followed by chromium, cobalt sulfate, the reaction of mixed-metal complex dyes mother. Will be followed by cyanuric chloride and metal complex dyes matrix condensation, and then ammonia was a product of the second condensation. After salting out, filtration, drying was finished.
