Poison by intraperitoneal, intravenous, and intratracheal routes. Moderately toxic by ingestion. Experimental reproductive effects. Radioactive. An oxidizing material; when in contact with readily combustible substances will cause violent combustion or ignition. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx.
