Hiyama Coupling

The Hiyama coupling is a type of cross-coupling reaction that involves the reaction of an organic halide (commonly an aryl or vinyl halide) with an organosilicon compound (often a silylenoate or silylenamide) in the presence of a Pd catalyst. The result is the formation of a new C-C bond between the organic halide and the silicon-containing compound.
