Suzuki-Miyaura Cross-Coupling Reaction

The Suzuki-Miyaura reaction is a widely used method for the formation of C-C bonds. It involves the coupling of an aryl or vinyl boronic acid (or boronate ester) with an aryl or vinyl halide or triflate in the presence of a palladium catalyst. The Pd-CS@SiO2 catalyst provides a suitable surface for this reaction, allowing the reactants to come into contact with the palladium center and facilitate the C-C bond formation.
