Tridemorph Uses

 2,6-dimethyl-4-tridecylmorpholin (24602-86-6) is used as a pharmaceutical intermediate and morpholine fungicide. It is also used for the prevention and control barley and wheat powdery mildew, wheat leaf rust, stripe rust, cucumbers, potatoes, rubber and pea powdery mildew.

Tridemorph Production

In the presence of sulfuric acid, 2,6-dimethyl-4-tridecylmorpholin (24602-86-6) is obtained from N, N-di (β-hydroxypropyl) amine 13 by dehydration cyclization at 160 °C.
