1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the LookChem platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
2. Definitions
- "Platform" refers to the LookChem website, services, and related tools.
- "User", "You" refers to any individual or entity that registers an account.
- "Supplier" refers to a User who lists chemical products for sale.
- "Buyer" refers to a User who uses the Platform to source chemical products.
- "Content" refers to all information, text, graphics, data, and listings posted on the Platform.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. By using the Platform, you represent that you are a business entity or an individual acting in a professional capacity.
4. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information and keep your account information updated. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
5. User Responsibilities and Conduct
- Accurate Listings: Suppliers are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of their product listings.
- Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:
- Post false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
- List any items that are prohibited by law or our policies.
- Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Transmit any viruses or malicious code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.
6. Transactions
LookChem is a platform for connecting buyers and suppliers. We are not a party to any transaction between users. We do not take title to, buy, or sell any products listed. All transactions, including quality, safety, payment, and delivery, are solely between the Buyer and the Supplier. LookChem is not responsible for and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any products advertised.
7. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LookChem and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without our express permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Lookchem expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lookchem shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LookChem and its affiliates from any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms, your use of the Platform, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.
12. Final Interpretation Right
LookChem reserves the final right to interpret these Terms of Service and all policies on the Platform.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
