This chemical is called Mordant Black13, and its CAS registry number is 1324-21-6. With the molecular formula of C26H16N2Na2O9S2, its appearance is dark gray powder. In addition, this chemical should be sealed in the cool and dry plcace. It's soluble in water and fiber protein (ethylene glycol ether), but not soluble in benzene, toluene, chloroform and carbon tetrachloride.
Production method of this chemical: The Mordant Black13 could be obtained by the materials of 1,4 - dihydroxy anthraquinone, aniline, boric acid, manganese dioxide and H2SO4. Then it's sulfonated by the sodium bisulfite. At last, it needs the process of salting out, filtration, drying and gets the product.
Uses of this chemical: This chemical is used for tops, wool and other wool fabric dyeing, especially suitable for dyeing carpet. It's also used for dyeing silk, nylon, fur.
