3-Morpholinosydnonimin hydrochloride (CAS NO.16142-27-1) is a metabolite of the vasodilator molsidomine and is considered to be a peroxynitrite releasing compound.
3-Morpholinosydnonimin hydrochloride (CAS NO.16142-27-1) can first used 4 - amino-morpholine by potassium cyanide, formaldehyde and cyanide methylation, to generate 4 - (cyanomethyl-amino) morpholine, and then sodium nitrite nitrosation of 4 - (cyanomethyl-N-nitroso-amino) do morpholine, the latter in hydrochloric acid methanol cyclization get this product.
