The Benzene,1,2-bis(decyloxy)-, with the CAS registry number 25934-47-8, is also known as 1,2-(Didecyloxy)benzene. This chemical's molecular formula is C26H46O2 and molecular weight is 390.64. It should be sealed and stored in cool and dry places.

Preparation: this chemical can be prepared by benzene-1,2-diol and 1-bromo-decane at the temperature of 120 ºC. This reaction will need reagent potassium and solvent tetralkylammonium salt with the reaction time of 2 hours. This reaction will also need catalyst AlCl3. The yield is about 81%.

Benzene,1,2-bis(decyloxy)- can be prepared by benzene-1,2-diol and 1-bromo-decane

Uses of Benzene,1,2-bis(decyloxy)-: it can be used to produce 2,3,6,7,10,11-hexakis-decyloxy-triphenylene at the ambient temperature. It will need reagent MoCl5 and solvent CH2Cl2 with the reaction time of 20 min. The yield is about 80%.
