 Iproclozide (CAS NO.3544-35-2) is an irreversible and selective monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) of the hydrazine chemical class that was used as an antidepressant.

 Iproclozide , its cas register number is 3544-35-2. It also can be called 1-(p-Chlorophenoxyacetyl)-2-isopropyl hydrazine ; p-Chlorophenoxyacetic acid 2-isopropylhydrazide ; (4-Chlorophenoxy)acetic acid 2-(1-methylethyl)hydrazide ; and Acetic acid, (4-chlorophenoxy)-, 2-(1-methylethyl)hydrazide (9CI) . It has since been discontinued, and has been known to cause fulminant hepatitis and there have been at least three reported fatalities due to administration of the drug.
