Uses of 1H-Indole-3-ethanol,6-methoxy-: it can be used to produce 3-(2-Brom-aethyl)-6-methoxy-indol at the temperature of 0°C. It will need reagents carbon tetrabromide, (C6H5)3P and solvent acetonitrile. The yield is about 85%.
